“Quick Draw” Artists Auction & Dinner

Scenic Nevada is sponsoring their third annual “Quick Draw” Artist Auction and Dinner at 4:30 pm at the Neal and Mary Cobb residence on Saturday afternoon. August 12, 2006 located at 7660 Hillview Drive in Golden Valley.

Come watch and observe twenty (20) of Northern Nevada’s’ finest artists create masterpieces – in one hour from 5:00 pm to 6; 00 pm. All masterpieces will be auctioned at 7:00 pm by Jim McCormick and Lara Alberti auctioneers. The proceeds of the auction will benefit Scenic Nevada (a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, environmental organization).

A delicious no host dinner and a preview of the finished works of art begin at 6:00 pm.

In addition, Scenic Nevada will recognize their 2006 Scenic Nevada “Heroes” who are Shayne Del Cohen, “We the People” host, Jeff Nicholson, Nevada artist and Ron Hunter, Patagonia.

This event is a great opportunity to purchase fantastic artwork, have fun, good food and benefit an important cause.

To reach the Neal & Mary Cobb home take US 395 north, take the Golden Valley exit, follow Golden Valley Road, turn left on Estates Road, take another left on Hillview Drive, 7660 Hillview Drive is on the corner of Estates Road and Hillview Drive.

The Scenic Nevada sub-committee on the “Quick Draw” Artist Auction and Dinner is Co-Chairpersons Renate Neumann and Jim McCormick, Neal Cobb, Marilyn Melton, Patty Melton, Doug Smith and Lori Wray.
