Winners in the Adult Division-Blight Category were; 1st Place Kurt Kuznicki, Reno, NV $100.00 (Top Left Photo ); 2nd Place Jane T. Johns, Carson City, NV $50.00 (Top Right Photo ); 3rd Place Laurel DeVries, Winnemucca, NV $25.00 (Bottom Left Photo ) and Honorable Mention Terry Cynar, Reno, NV, Certificate (Bottom Right Photo ).

Top Left Photo -- First place, adult division: BLIGHT. "The photo shows the exceptional beauty of the Truckee Meadows, along with three major challenges facing the area: open space, water and the need for proper planning. The blight is shown by the stranded outhouse." Taken near the corner of Steamboat and Veterans Parkway in the Damonte Ranch area.

Top Right Photo -- Second place, adult division: BLIGHT. "Taken in Carson Valley. Hawk searching for food is perched on rubbish which was clogging a stream."

Bottom Left Photo -- Third place, adult division: BLIGHT. "Old West Meets the New." Taken at Thomas Canyon Road in Winnemucca.

Bottom Right Photo -- Honorable mention, adult division: BLIGHT. "'American Flat Graffiti' near Devil's Gate in Storey County shows the blight spreading throughout our beloved state of Nevada. The historical 1921 mill site is a beautiful structure that is being ravaged by selfish and uncaring people."

Top Right Photo -- Second place, high school division: BEAUTY. "This photo was taken at Red Rock. It shows the beautiful landscape of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bottom Left Photo -- Third place, high school division: BEAUTY: "I took this photo at Nelson's Landing, and it's beauty because it has the old elegance of an old town."

Bottom Right Photo -- Honorable mention, high school division: BEAUTY. "I chose this photo because it demonstrates Nevada's beauty in the afternoon, just as the sun begins to set. It is the Water Canyon area and signs of spring are hidden in the colors."

Top Left Photo -- First place, high school division: BLIGHT. This photo was taken in a tunnel in a park. It shows that even on a nice side of town, there is still negative surroundings.

Top Right Photo -- Second place, high school division: BLIGHT. "I took this photo at Nelson's Landing / El Dorado Canyon. I feel this picture shows the blight of Nevada beacuse it shows how much of a wasteland Nevada is used for."

Bottom Left Photo -- Third place, high school division: BLIGHT. "The photo shows the blight of Nevada by how some people can be so inconsiderate of government property."

Bottom Right Phtos -- Honorable mention, high school division: BLIGHT. "A tire in the most peaceful place to relax. With ducks, geese, and other wildlife swimming along with it."
