Philip DeManczuk — Scenic Nevada Heroe

Philip DeManczuk is an award winning, internationally published wildlife, landscape and expedition photographer. He is most noted for his work with Alaska Brown and Grizzly bears and has made numerous solo expeditions into Kodiak Island and the Kenai Penninsula backcountry in pursuit of these great carnivores.

His work has been featured in many galleries and prestigious magazines throughout the world and his client list includes such notable entities as Eastman Kodak, Alaska Airlines, the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Wildlife Refuge Association and the National Geographic Society's book division.

For a period of four years Philip's work was featured on the covers of the Nevada Bell Telephone directories helping promote the Nevada Department of Wildlife's Operation Game Thief, a law enforcement division formed to help fight poaching. His work helped elevate Operation Game Thief to one of the most successful in the country and Philip was recognized nationally by Photo District News and by Nevada Senator Harry Reid.
