Planning for providing open space and connecting trails through our community is underway and the city is encouraging public participation in this ongoing process.

Join your neighbors at the second public planning session February 16, 2006 on the city's Open Space and Greenways project. The community's ideas are being incorporated into the plan and now is the time to help shape its outcome. This meeting may be the last public planning session held before a draft is completed.

The final draft of the Open Space Greenways Plan will be reviewed eventually by the city's Park and Recreation Commission, Planning Commission, Reno City Council and the Truckee Meadows Regional Planning Agency.
